Take the 2019 SANS Security Vulnerability Management Survey

  • New SANS survey aims to gather data on vulnerability management practices across industries and geographies
  • Bromium partners with SANS in promoting the survey, and we encourage our customers to participate
  • Don’t delay—the survey closes on Monday, January 14, 2019

As organizations look ahead toward the trials and possibilities of the new year, many are focused on finding innovative information security strategies to protect their IT systems from a growing threat of cyber attacks. SANS—the premier information security research and training organization—is conducting an annual survey to gather insights from IT professionals about their companies’ security priorities and strategies for the near future.

This broad-spectrum survey is aiming to collect both statistical data and specific narratives and on how organizations of all sizes across a wide range of industries and geographies are managing their security vulnerabilities.

This survey is a great opportunity for cybersecurity professionals to share their experiences about how their organizations perceive security risks, how they learn about new vulnerabilities, what factors are most commonly used in assessing the risk of each threat, and how their companies prioritize the remediation of known problems.

In addition to the qualitative aspect, the survey also encourages respondents to describe their experiences and talk about specific challenges that they face in their line of work. If you leave interesting comments, SANS may contact you for a follow-up based on the contact information you provide. You may even have an opportunity to win a gift card—all survey participants are entered in a drawing.

With the number and intensity of cyber attacks on the rise, it is not surprising that most organizations treat IT security as one of their top priorities for the coming year. Share how your company is managing security vulnerabilities across endpoints and applications and help SANS build a better understanding of the current security landscape.

Don’t delay—the survey closes on Monday, January 14.

We look forward to sharing the final results with you when they are published.
