John Matthew Holt is founder and chief technology officer of Waratek. John Matthew is the inspiration and technical driving force behind Waratek’s groundbreaking research and development into distributed computing and virtualization technologies. A compiler engineer by training, John Matthew has focused on compiler optimization for most of his career, which ultimately led him to create Waratek in 2009. He now leads a multinational team of expert engineers in Waratek’s Dublin R&D lab. Holding more than 50 patents and counting, John Matthew has earned numerous industry awards including the prestigious RSA Innovation Sandbox Award for “Most Innovative Company.” Under John Matthew’s leadership, Waratek has also been named Gartner Cool Vendor, selected for the Fintech Innovation Lab, and voted top Global Innovator in the Swift Innotribe Challenge.
