Tenable has announced Tenable Hexa AI, an agentic AI engine built into the Tenable One Exposure Management Platform. The announcement was made at RSAC 2026 in San Francisco.

Tenable Hexa AI functions as an orchestration layer that connects exposure intelligence to action. Powered by Tenable’s Exposure Data Fabric, the engine understands how vulnerabilities, identities, assets, configurations, and AI systems interact across an organization’s attack surface, then coordinates fixes across IT, cloud, identity, OT, and AI environments at machine speed.

The product includes four core components: an Agentic Orchestration Engine that operates as a mission-control center for complex, multi-step workflows; Workflow Automation Across the Attack Surface for coordinated action from detection through remediation; Custom Agents tailored to an organization’s specific environment with human-in-the-loop controls; and Out-of-the-Box Agents that handle repeatable tasks like asset management, reporting, and operational health checks.

Tenable serves over 40,000 customers globally. Tenable Hexa AI is currently available through a private customer and partner program, with general availability expected later in 2026.
