Nudge Security Adds AI Agent Discovery to Surface Shadow Agents and Their Risks Across the Enterprise

Nudge Security has announced new AI agent discovery capabilities, giving security teams a way to find, assess, and govern AI agents as employees deploy them across the enterprise. The announcement came at RSAC 2026 in San Francisco.

The new capabilities extend Nudge Security’s existing SaaS and AI security governance platform into the agentic layer. Security teams can now continuously discover agents deployed across platforms like Microsoft Copilot Studio, Salesforce Agentforce, n8n, and others, without any new deployments for existing customers already connected to supported SaaS environments.

Beyond discovery, the platform inventories each agent’s permissions, resources, and capabilities, so teams know what every agent can do, what it’s connected to, and who built it. Risk insights surface the issues that matter most: publicly accessible agents, hardcoded credentials, unauthenticated MCP connections, high-risk integrations, and orphaned agents whose creators have left the organization. From there, security teams can reach the humans behind the agents directly, asking them to confirm intent, justify access, and resolve issues.

The company points to a significant gap the product addresses: 80% of organizations report encountering agentic AI risks related to improper data exposure and unauthorized access to systems.

“The security teams that build a real inventory of their AI agents now, with actual risk visibility and clear accountability, will put their organizations in a fundamentally advantaged position,” said Russ Spitler, CEO and co-founder of Nudge Security. “Our AI agent discovery lets teams embrace AI innovation while also addressing the new risks these agents introduce.”

The new AI agent discovery adds to Nudge Security’s existing capabilities, which already include MCP server connection discovery, AI data flow visualization, and sensitive data sharing detection, alongside discovery of shadow AI apps, users, and integrations across thousands of AI providers.

AI agent discovery is available as a research preview. Existing Nudge Security customers connected to Salesforce and ServiceNow need no additional configuration. New platform connections for ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Gemini are also now available. Free trials are available at nudgesecurity.com.
