Track Carriers with Confidence
Managing circuits just got easier. We’ve added Carrier as a standard property on Circuits, so you can now track which carriers handle your network connections. This field is fully searchable, sortable, and importable via the standard import template—making it simple to organize and report on carrier data across your infrastructure.
Find Assets Faster with Host Name Search
Quick Search and Advanced Search now include discovered asset host name. Whether you’re running a quick lookup or building complex filters, you can now search by host name to locate assets even faster. It’s another way we’re helping you cut through the noise and get straight to what you need.
Optimize Data Collector Performance
We’ve fine-tuned the Data Collector with various optimizations that enhance monitoring and communication performance with the Hyperview API. Plus, we’ve added support for OpenSUSE Leap 15 and 16, giving you more flexibility in how you deploy your monitoring infrastructure.
Important: Update to the 5.2.x version of the data collector to take advantage of these improvements.
Modbus Gets an Upgrade
The Modbus definition builder now supports 64-bit input and holding registers, expanding your ability to monitor industrial equipment and specialized devices that use extended register formats.ll.
Other Notable Enhancements
More Granular Temperature Control
Desired Temperature is now available as an asset property for CRAC, CRAH, Chiller, In Row Cooling, Environmental Monitor, Rack PDU, Small UPS, and Location asset types. Create more precise threshold alarm events to keep your cooling systems running optimally.
Better API Integration
Enumerated sensor readings via the API now include both string and raw enumerated values in the same call—streamlining your integration workflows.
Long Names, No Problem
We’ve improved how the application handles user-set names for various entities, so you can use descriptive names without running into display issues.
