The Boston Globe Recognizes Cybereason as a Top Place to Work in 2020

Cybereason is pleased to announce we were named one of the Top Places to Work in 2020 by The Boston Globe, which recognizes the most admired workplaces in the state voted on by the people who know them best—their employees. The survey measures employee opinions about their company’s direction, execution, connection, management, work, pay and benefits, and engagement.

“I am thrilled that Cybereason has been recognized as one the ‘Top Places to Work’ this year by The Boston Globe. Our employees are the champions behind our success and I never take the trust they place in us for granted,” said Lior Div, CEO and co-founder, Cybereason.

“In the face of unprecedented challenges brought on by COVID-19, their never-give-up attitude is the reason we continue to grow at a record-setting pace. We are out to build a company that matters. One that can end cyber attacks from endpoints to everywhere — and I know we have the best team in the industry to make that happen.”

Cybereason is one of the fastest-growing cybersecurity companies in the world with nearly $400 million in investment and a customer base that experienced hyper growth within the same period. In 2020, some of the world’s most respected independent analyst firms and testing labs have rated Cybereason the industry’s top endpoint protection platform.

“This was a particularly challenging year to be a great place to work, and the companies that made our list went above and beyond to keep their employees safe, engaged, and cared for. From offering help with childcare to making the workplace more equitable to holding virtual talent shows, these employers showed that the best get better in a crisis,” said Katie Johnston, the Globe’s Top Places to work editor.

Div added, “At the heart of the Cybereason culture is our UBU value (‘you be you’), our mission of accepting every person as an individual and the wider importance of inclusivity and diversity. It is our mission to continue to build a global team of diverse ‘defenders’ with a collective strength that comes from acceptance of each one of us, exactly as we are.”

To that end, Cybereason is focusing internal efforts on one of our Company values we call “UbU” which recognizes employees who exemplify our commitment to diversity in all its forms. A UbU campaign announced by Lior Div earlier this year created an initiative for company-wide education and discussion around inequality, bias, and racism.

In addition, through the Mass Technology Leadership Council we have joined forces with over 60 other companies to sign the Tech Compact for Social Justice. By committing to diversity and inclusion efforts with other local startups and established technology leaders, we want to amplify our work on inclusion with that of our peers.

We are also joining with our cybersecurity peers globally to influence policies to promote inclusive language as a common standard. We are at the beginning of a journey towards a more equitable and inclusive future in cybersecurity, and we hope you will join us!
