PCI Pal®, the global provider of secure payment solutions, has been confirmed as one of the most exciting technology businesses in the eastern region by a new ‘Tech East 100’ initiative.
The Tech East 100 businesses have been selected by an independent panel of expert judges and include a wide range of companies. It is designed to shine a spotlight on companies that are making great strides in their areas of specialism and demonstrate the innovation that is taking place from businesses based in the eastern counties.
The programme is led by Tech East and backed by Suffolk and Norfolk local authorities, New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership, BT and an impressive list of local sponsors. Tim Robinson, Chief Operating Officer of Tech East said, “Our judges were looking for tech companies with passion who were entering new markets, attracting new customers and developing innovations that make the world a better place. They found them here in the East.”
Talking about its place in the Tech East 100, PCI Pal’s CEO, James Barham, said, “As a company that was founded in East Anglia, we are honoured to be recognised by the judges of this brand new initiative. Since our birth in Suffolk as a division of another business, we have expanded rapidly. We are listed on the London Stock Exchange AIM market, and today we have offices in both the UK and US. Our cloud-based payment security solutions are today supporting organisations across the globe and so we’re delighted that the judges have recognised our contribution to tech innovation in the region.”
