Employee Spotlight: Lee Isenman

Lee Isenman is a Solutions Engineer at Balbix. Lee works closely with customers and prospects to identify how Balbix can solve their unique challenges. Learn more about him in the video above and Q&A below!

What do you do?

I’m a member of the sales team and help the sales person explain the technology to the customer so that they have a better understanding of what our platform does and how it differs from the competition.

Where are you from?

I’m from Melbourne,  Florida. It’s due east of Orlando right on the water about 30 miles south of the cape where the space shuttle used to go off. I grew up here as well, so back when there would be a launch,  they’d let us out of school kind of like a recess and we would be able to see the launch live with the naked eye. You could even feel the sonic boom upon re-entry.

What led you into this field of work?

I started in the networking space and security really started to take off and I was really looking to work in a smaller company. I’ve been really happy here at a smaller company on the cutting-edge of network security.

What makes you excited to come into work every morning?

I really am passionate about helping customers solve their problems, so every morning is a fresh opportunity. Different prospects have different takes on what’s keeping them up at night, so I really enjoy working with them and seeing how our platform can help solve their problems.

What is your favorite part about working at Balbix?

My favorite part about working at Balbix is the people. It’s a great group of people, all really energetic and bright. There’s never someone that says that’s not my job or that’s not your job. It’s a team environment. We all have our areas of expertise, but it’s a really welcoming environment where everyone’s pitching in to help improve the platform.
