Maintaining Privacy in the Cloud by Terry Ray
Not long ago I joined Brian Contos, CISO and VP of ProductInnovation at Verodin, for one of his Verodin Cybersecurity Effectiveness Podcasts. It’s been about 10 years since I worked with Brian at Imperva when he was the Chief Security Strategist. Back then, he was the one traveling the world, meeting with organizations who were dealing with some of the most complex issues in cybersecurity at the time. Since those days with Brian, I’ve found that industry conversations have changed, but the need to solve the ever-changing cybersecurity challenges has not, especially as it relates to application security, data security, and data privacy.
You can listen to the podcast here or directly through iTunes, Spotify, or Stitcher. You can also read the podcast transcription here.
Pulling from both of our experiences with security professionals and business leaders, Brian and I discussed data privacy and how cyber workloads transitioning to the cloud are impacting application and data security. We also covered the impact of increased regulations, and security professional preparedness.
Check out the podcast to listen to our full conversation. Enjoy!
