June 2026 Newsletter: Endpoint Credentials, Zero Trust Controls, and AI Agent Security

The 12Port team has rolled out new capabilities that strengthen visibility, simplify privileged access management, and expand AI-driven insights across the platform. Here is what you missed in our recent weekly releases.

Platform updates

Zero Trust controls for native PowerShell sessions

12Port now adds stronger protection for native PowerShell sessions with MFA before access, command-level enforcement, video recording, and real-time session control. Admins can pause or terminate risky sessions and use recorded activity for audit, investigation, and response.

Endpoint credential support for native RDP and SSH clients

Users can now connect to remote Windows, Unix, and network device endpoints from native desktop or mobile RDP or SSH clients by providing endpoint credentials directly. Access remains securely mediated through the 12Port connection broker, with RBAC policies, approval workflows, and session monitoring with video and event recording.

Configurable cryptographic settings for inbound SSH

12Port now supports configuration of cryptographic settings for inbound SSH connections. This gives security teams more control over SSH access requirements and alignment with internal standards.

Secure AI agents with PAM

AI agents should not have standing access or direct access to credentials. See how 12Port PAM secures AI agents with native MCP support, brokered credential access, policy enforcement, and recorded sessions.

Featured news

Vendor privileged access

Outside parties need access to do the work, but not standing access, shared VPN accounts, or unmanaged remote tools. 12Port gives third parties named, monitored, and revocable access with every action watched. Learn more.

Rethinking privileged access for machine and AI identities

Rethinking identity
