What’s New at ManagedMethods: New Features, Smarter Tools & Smoother Experiences

Our engineering team has been busy behind the scenes building and improving our cybersecurity and safety products. We’ve been gathering feedback from our amazing customers (that’s you!) and turning it into new features and upgrades across the ManagedMethods suite: Cloud Monitor, Content Filter, and Classroom Manager. Here’s a look at what’s new and what’s coming soon:
Scheduled Classes in Classroom Manager
Managing class time just got a lot easier. With our new scheduling feature in Classroom Manager, teachers and admins can now set weekly date and time ranges for each class. You can edit or delete those schedules as needed—and even rename them directly by updating the class name for better organization.
Coming Soon! Meet Content Filter Light
We heard you! Some schools just need a simple, cost-effective way to block external documents and websites—without all the bells and whistles. That’s why we built Content Filter Light: a streamlined version of our filter that covers the essentials while keeping infrastructure (and pricing) low.
Reasoning ML Model for Risk Assessment
We’re proud to introduce a first-of-its-kind feature in the K–12 cybersecurity space: a reasoning-based machine learning model. This model not only flags risky content—it also explains why it was flagged. That way, IT admins get a built-in “second opinion” and can re-evaluate alerts with more context and confidence. Early results show that accuracy is already improving compared to our default model.
Reasoning ML Model Functionality and Future Development
Right now, the reasoning ML model supports text-based content like documents and emails. But our team isn’t stopping there. Soon, we plan to roll out automated background evaluations for flagged risks—cutting down false positives and saving your team time. And stay tuned for our upcoming spam and phishing detection model, built with the same reasoning capabilities.
