RiskLens Adds New APIs for Risk Registers and Other Reporting Tools

Today, we’re announcing new APIs and export capabilities for the RiskLens platform, part of our ongoing program to integrate quantitative risk analysis and reporting with the tools most familiar and convenient for our clients, such as executive dashboards, IRMs, GRCs, analytics products and other systems of record.

New export capabilities for Portfolio Management

Portfolios are highly flexible, automated reporting with dashboards customizable to the information needs of the board and executive leadership, for instance, to view risk by business unit or revenue stream. In a Portfolio, users create Topics and tag them to groups of risk scenarios, for instance covering forms of loss (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability) or type of loss event.

With this new release, Portfolio and Topic reporting can now be exported to Excel and CSV, allowing users to create custom visuals, change currencies to match internal reporting and many other refinements.

New APIs brings risk analysis into our clients’ preferred tools

This latest release empowers customers to initiate a wide range of RiskLens platform actions remotely and draw on their internal systems of record when doing so. The days of double data entry are behind us with RiskLens’ ability to directly ingest data from other applications.

With the new APIs, you can not only automatically create and manage assets from your CMDB, GRC, or other source of record, but you now ingest their key metrics to drive even more rigor and defensibility into your risk assessments.

The good news doesn’t stop there – the scenario creation API that debuted with our previous release in May makes it possible to create rules to automatically create corresponding risk scenarios after asset creation. Know a crown jewel database requiring a data breach scenario? Automate the creation to save yourself time and ensure consistent analysis across your enterprise.

Even better, the asset workshop subscriptions mean that the key metrics you ingested during asset creation will be ready and waiting for use in those scenarios. Customers can also remotely run and delete scenarios.

Previous releases implemented remote access to data helpers, risk scenarios and risk assessments, and the subscription system for automatic data updates based on the latest changes in customers’ risk landscapes.
