Today, I’m excited to share that we’re taking one step closer to achieving this goal with the launch of the Keyfactor Community — a secure space for users to collaborate and share their expertise on public key infrastructure (PKI), digital signing, and cryptography tools. Our new community will give developers, operations, and engineering teams access to our open-source tools and the knowledge needed to implement the best security solutions for their use case or product. 

Secure software development is critical to the success of nearly every company using applications and software to effectively run their business – and open-source software significantly lowers the barrier to developing new research and technology. Today, application and operations teams increasingly rely on PKI and machine identities to build, deliver, and run applications securely.

This is why we’re providing Keyfactor Community users with free community editions of our leading products — SignServer, EJBCA, and Bouncy Castle. We’re also offering 30-day free trials of our enterprise editions on Azure and AWS cloud.

The new Keyfactor Community empowers users to work closely with industry peers and offers educational resources and access to world-class knowledge through a secure setting. Developer teams carry tremendous responsibility in making security-related decisions. Our intent with this new community is to help alleviate this burden through access to our entire software stack through open-source software — and we’re just getting started.
