SecZetta Expands International Presence with Opening of EMEA Headquarters

Entry into EMEA Market Demonstrates Growing Demand for SecZetta’s

 Third-Party Identity Risk solution

Fall River, Mass. – February 1, 2022 SecZetta, a leading provider of third-party identity risk solutions, announced the opening of its Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) headquarters in London, UK. The expansion demonstrates the company’s continued momentum as it looks to meet the growing demand for its solution in the EMEA market and globally.

Phil Allen, an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience in Identity Management has been named General Manager, EMEA. Mr. Allen began his career in the field of PKI in the late nineties and has developed deep expertise in helping organizations gain the maximum value out of their Identity Management programs. He most recently served as Vice President and General Manager, EMEA at Ping Identity where he supported many of the world’s largest enterprises with their strategic initiatives such as Open Banking, Identity post-GDPR, acceleration of Cloud adoption, and their Zero Trust strategies.

In addition to increased awareness of the necessity of least privilege or Zero Trust based access methodologies for third-party non-employees, the scale of many organizations’ utilization of third parties as part of their regular business practices has put additional strain on existing processes and increased their risk exposure. Further, as global organizations continue to utilize cloud computing, DevOps, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and other “things” to drive their digital transformation initiatives forward, the use of non-human workers continues to increase and with that the need to provide them access.

“A key driver in our EMEA expansion is the growing movement we’ve seen towards automation and the use of an identity authority as a critical component to managing the diversity, complexity, and volume of third-party non-employee workforce access. SecZetta uniquely delivers this capability,” said David Pignolet, founder and CEO, SecZetta. “We are very excited to welcome Phil to SecZetta; his deep industry knowledge, leadership experience, and regional expertise make him well positioned to lead our growth strategy in EMEA,”

“Having spent the past 20 years helping organizations with their Identity Management programs, the focus has always been on either employee or customers’ identities, with no consideration for the myriad of non-employee and non-human identities that are part of most organizations,” said Phil Allen, GM EMEA, SecZetta. “SecZetta solutions uniquely help automate the risk-based identity lifecycle management processes for third-party and non-human users which not only improves overall operational efficiency around managing access for these users but dramatically reduces the risk associated with granting insider access to external, non-employee users. I look forward to building the EMEA organization and working with our channel partners in helping customers address all other identities as part of their Identity Management programs.”

The EMEA organization will go-to-market with a channel-first sales strategy designed to utilize existing partnerships and promote channel growth to support sales momentum.
