ManagedMethods Shortlisted for the 2021 SaaS Awards

BOULDER, Colo.—August 3, 2021—ManagedMethods, the leading Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 cybersecurity, student safety and compliance platform for K-12 school districts, today announced the company has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Best SaaS Product for Non-profits or Education category of the 2021 SaaS Awards. This marks the second consecutive year ManagedMethods has been named a finalist in the awards program and category.

“It’s an honor to have ManagedMethods on the SaaS Awards shortlist for the second year in a row,” said Charlie Sander, Chief Executive Officer at ManagedMethods. “This award recognizes our team’s excellence and innovation in developing a leading SaaS platform for education. We look forward to continuing to support school districts in helping make their schools safer in the cloud.”

At the start of the pandemic, districts turned to video conferencing applications like Google Meet & Chat, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom to continue school remotely. District IT teams suddenly needed the tools in place to secure their remote and hybrid learning environments. Not only to protect the data of students and staff, but to also monitor student behavior. To find the risks circulating within Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.

“Just as SaaS technologies have been vital in pivoting organizational functions to respond to global crises, they will be essential as we look forward to returning to normal levels of productivity,” said James Williams, Head of Operations at the SaaS Awards. “The shortlisted candidates represent truly innovative thinkers in the SaaS industry, whether they’re freshly-funded disruptors or established names.”

This shortlist recognition from the SaaS Awards follows ManagedMethods introducing its latest features to its platform. These features include cybersecurity, safety, and monitoring and reporting for Google Meet & Chat, and Google Classroom. In addition to the company’s launch of its Signals AI-powered student safety monitoring tool.

Final SaaS Awards winners will be announced on Tuesday, August 31st, and the program will return in Spring 2022. Hundreds of organizations entered, with international entries coming from North America, Canada, Australia, UK, Europe and the Middle East. Visit this link to view the full shortlist.
