We Will SOC You! Here is Your Essential SecOps Soundtrack
Unless you’ve been living under a SOC, er rock, for the past year, you’re familiar with just how languishing the preceding 12 months have been for us. Even as inklings of pre-pandemic normalcy are returning, the work lives of many of us and challenges we face – security operations professionals most definitely included – have been turned upside down (and will likely remain that way for the foreseeable future.)
That means continuing to cope with the distraction and isolation that comes with remote work. OR… celebrating the independence and convenience that it brings!
Either way, it calls for music, specifically a playlist that features classic, sing-at-the-top-of-your-lungs hits from a variety of genres whose titles can be creatively and satirically reworded to sound like something that relates to security operations.
If you ask us, that’s the best idea to hit the SOC since SOAR.
But even as automation is propelling the future of security operations, there is no replacement for the human analyst.
