BOULDER, Colo.—April 20, 2021—ManagedMethods, the leading Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 cybersecurity, student safety and compliance platform for K-12 school districts, today announced the company has been named a finalist in the 2021 Excellence in Customer Service Awards by Business Intelligence Group. The annual awards program recognizes the teams who are helping companies better communicate with their customers to provide a differentiated level of customer service.
For school districts, the sudden shift to remote learning in the spring of 2020 created a lot of chaos and uncertainty for IT teams. New applications, such as Google Meet, Chat, and Classroom became widely used to keep schools connected. With these new apps, the security perimeter in schools greatly expanded. Soon after, ManagedMethods provided new features to monitor and audit the activity in these apps—giving IT teams the ability to better protect students, teachers, and staff in these new learning environments.
District IT teams faced many challenges to ensure students and staff were protected in the cloud. The ManagedMethods customer support team focused a majority of its time and effort to educate the company’s customers and prospects about the new features. ManagedMethods’ industry-leading customer support stepped up throughout the pandemic to make sure customers had the visibility and control needed to help make schools safer online.
“On the frontline of our uncertain times are customer service professionals and suppliers without whom we wouldn’t be able to live as comfortably as we have for the last year,” said Maria Jimenez, Chief Operating Officer of the Business Intelligence Group. “It is our honor to recognize ManagedMethods as they are leading by example and making real progress on improving the daily lives of so many.”
