Talkdesk first to earn ISO 27701:2019 security certification

January 28, 2021 – To mark Data Privacy Day, Talkdesk announces its latest certification for privacy information, ISO 27701:2019. Talkdesk® is the first CCaaS provider to achieve the ISO 27701:2019 certification, the privacy extension of ISO 27001. With this extension, Talkdesk adds to its level of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) certification. The ISO 27701:2019 certification specifies requirements and provides guidance for establishing, maintaining and continually improving a Privacy Information Management System. Talkdesk was also the first to receive the ISO 22301:2012 security certification for Business Continuity Management.

According to the International Organization for Standardization, these security certifications give world-class specifications for products, services and systems, to ensure quality, safety and efficiency. They help organizations manage the security of assets such as financial information, intellectual property, employee details or information entrusted to companies by third parties, and they are instrumental in facilitating international trade.
