Announcing Refreshed & Updated Cloud Infrastructure Protection

The world of cloud security is changing, and Radware’s products are changing with it.

We are excited to announce the re-naming of Radware’s Cloud Workload Protection Service (CWP) to Radware Cloud Native Protector.

When we originally launched this product in late 2018, the primary focus of cloud security was to protect assets – workloads – hosted on public cloud environments, and hence the name of Cloud Workload Protection.

However, since then, public cloud security has become so much more: it has come to encompass not just protection of workloads, but of all facets of public cloud infrastructure, such as protection of the overall cloud security posture, safeguarding cloud roles and identities, and eliminating insider cloud threats.

As more and more organizations are moving to public cloud and hybrid cloud environments, they must protect not only the application surface with products such as WAF, DDoS, and bot protection, but also the cloud infrastructure against cloud misconfigurations, accidental exposure, and unauthorized access to cloud resources.

We realized that the name must reflect not just the capabilities of our product, but also the value it delivers to customers.

To that end, we are renaming to product to Cloud Native Protector.

Key Capabilities

Cloud Native Protector provides several key built-in capabilities:

  • Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) with 1-click compliance reporting and detection of cloud misconfigurations for protection, compliance and governance of the overall cloud account
  • Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM) with detection and remediation of excessive permissions, to prevent them from being exploited by malicious actors
  • Cloud Threat Detection & Prevention with 70+ Malicious Behavior Indicators (MBIs) for detection of potentially suspicious activity in your cloud account, and an AI-based correlation engine to show the step-by-step progression of attacks
  • Cross-Cloud Reporting & Visibility for a 360-degree view of everything that is happening in your AWS and Azure accounts, from within a single dashboard

Radware’s Cloud Native Protector addresses all facets of public cloud infrastructure, including protection of the overall cloud security posture, safeguarding cloud roles and identities, eliminating insider cloud threats, and more.
