MY TAKE: Peerlyst shares infosec intel; recognizes Last Watchdog as a top cybersecurity influencer

Sharing intelligence for the greater good is an essential component of making Internet-centric commerce as safe and as private as it needs to be.

Peerlyst is another step in that direction. Started by infosec professionals, Peerlyst takes the characteristics of B2B communications we’ve become accustomed to on Twitter and LinkedIn and directs it toward cybersecurity.

By signing up for Peerlyst, company decision makers focused on mitigating cyber risks, as well as vendor experts, academics and independent researchers, are provided with a personalized feed of content based on specific interests, as well as the topics and people you follow.

Once fresh resource issued this week is a new eBook: 52 Influential Cyber Security Bloggers and Speakers, a who’s who of folks working diligently to advance helpful discussion of news developments and trends. I’m honored to be included.

It’s easy to participate on Peerlyst. You can do so by submitting an email address or log in with your LinkedIn account. Their privacy policy is to never reach out to your contacts, post on your behalf, or message anyone without your explicit request on Peerlyst.com.

According to Peerlyst VP Evgeny Belenky, Peerlyst does not disclose, share, rent, or sell user information to vendors, third parties, or anyone else

My thanks to Evgeny and moderator Basheer Khan for helping advance necessary sharing among the good guys. I intend to participate. See you on Peerlyst. Talk more soon.
