Celebrating 10 years with Nuvias Group

This year, nCipher is marking its 10-year anniversary of a successful collaboration with Nuvias Group. Since the beginning of the partnership Nuvias, the added-value EMEA distributor, has offered nCipher’s data protection and cybersecurity solutions to customers across the DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) region.

Our customers, who include some of the biggest names in the German automotive, banking, and healthcare industries, have faced a variety of challenges over the years. Many of them operate in heavily regulated industries, and all of them handle highly sensitive data that presents itself as a desirable target for cyberattacks. While the DACH region has historically embraced encryption – according to the 2019 Global Encryption Trends Study, 67% of German organizations have an encryption strategy in place – they’ve all had to adjust to the proliferation of cloud technologies, the internet of things (IoT), and other emerging technologies such as Docker and blockchain. These forces, coupled with major compliance regulations such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and eIDAS, have compelled them to take a much more proactive approach towards security.
