Black Hat USA 2019: Come Visit Us. Challenge Your Security Assumptions. by Tracey Moon

Recharge at Verodin Revive Lounge, Located in South Pacific Ballroom J

It’s that time of year – Black Hat USA, now in its 22nd year! Recognized as the world’s leading information security event, the Verodin team is excited for the conference, which promises to provide opportunities to collaborate and share insights in cybersecurity research, development and trends. And as always, one of our favorite parts of Black Hat is reconnecting with old friends and creating new relationships.

At Black Hat, we will launch Verodin’s Threat Actor Assurance Module (TAAM), a security game changer, for general availability. Why does TAAM matter to you? As we all know, keeping up with threat intelligence is often a minute by minute challenge as cybercrime continues to advance and continuously adapt to our defenses. For the first time ever, TAAM will allow customers to operationalize their threat intelligence with Verodin’s Security Instrumentation Platform (SIP).

TAAM is providing enterprises with the ability to determine if threat actors can get through their defenses before an actual attack by making threat intelligence actionable. Simply put, it validates an organization’s defensive stack’s capabilities to prevent, detect and alert on indicators of compromise and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) – including the MITRE ATT&CK™framework.

We are also excited to announce as part of our acquisition by FireEye, customers who have acquired Verodin TAAM will now be able to receive the following from FireEye Threat Intelligence:

·     Validated protection against expanded threat actors and TTPs via access of FireEye Threat Intelligence database

DevOps Unbound Podcast

·     Validated protection malware families via access to the entire FireEye Threat Intelligence database
