Here are some things to add to your to-do list while at Black Hat:
Come to Ian’s talk to learn about hypervisors
Bromium’s co-founder, Ian Pratt, has been building hypervisors for nearly two decades. He says that each hypervisor is a product of its time, making the best use of available hardware capabilities to meet product requirements and security goals. In his presentation, titled “Hypervisor Security: Lessons Learned”, Ian will share what he has learned in the process of building four different hypervisors – Xen, XenClient, Bromium vSentry, and AX – and how technology is evolving and taking advantage of the latest security innovations to better combat modern threats.
- Title: Hypervisor Security: Lessons Learned
- Date: Wednesday, August 8, 3pm-3:50pm
- Room: Oceanside E
Visit Bromium at booth #228 and bring your own malware
There will be demos, meetings with our security experts, and engaging discussions on how Bromium’s virtualization-based security helps you contain malware, even if your perimeter has been breached.
And yes, the BYOM challenge is back! Bring your own malware and see if you can get it to break free of our micro-VM. You will need to pre-register and review the rules, but if you think your worst, most advanced malware sample has what it takes to escape from Bromium isolation, we would love to take it out for a spin! Bring it on, and then try it with other vendors too – see how they can compare to Bromium!
Schedule a meeting with Bromium executives
Have specific questions about Bromium application isolation? Schedule a meeting with one of our executive staff, and we will get your questions answered. To request a meeting, contact your Bromium partner or account manager, or request a meeting and we will get back to you.
