Cybersecurity Turns the COVID-19 Corner

The COVID-19 pandemic has proven to be a defining moment for cybersecurity. Security perimeters crumbled overnight as entire workforces started working from home, and most gave little thought to the security implications. From a cybersecurity perspective, change reigned.

In 2021, many cybersecurity teams are still working to adjust to a new reality. In theory, once COVID-19 vaccines are widely distributed more workers will be returning to the office. However, many employees will continue to work from home part or all of the time. In some cases, organizations may decide to keep a remote workforce and eliminate offices altogether.

Organizations need a security strategy that addresses this new reality and makes them even more secure by creating truly zee-trust it environments.
