On the Road with the Microsoft Tech Summit In Europe

Fortinet is a sponsor of the 2018 Microsoft Tech Summit, a traveling seminar and exhibition series in Europe with stops in Birmingham (January 24-25), Frankfurt-am-Main (February 21-22), Paris (March 14-15), Amsterdam (March 28-29), and Warsaw (April 25-26). At each Summit, Fortinet will exhibit and demonstrate products and solutions that support important Microsoft offerings, both on the exhibition floor, and also as part of the Summit’s presentation seminar program.

The core message Fortinet is touting at the Summits revolves around the theme, “Fortinet Security Fabric: Adaptive Security & Visibility for Microsoft On Premise and Multi-Cloud Environments.” This theme highlights the role of the Fortinet Security Fabric in providing an adaptive, transparent, end-to-end security solution for the most demanding Microsoft compute environments. The latter includes an integrated security solution that spans across endpoints, branches, the data center, and multi-cloud environments.

Microsoft is a major player in the cloud, both as an application and service delivery platform as well as a public cloud provider offering multiple services, including: Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). The strong adoption and growth of Microsoft’s cloud solutions has elevated the security of multi-cloud environments to a top priority for the Microsoft customer base. The Fortinet Security Fabric is unique in providing a single security posture combined with visibility across the entire Microsoft attack surface. Microsoft’s Tech Summit program provides a great opportunity to enhance awareness of the Fortinet Security Fabric’s unique advantages for end-to-end Microsoft multi-cloud environments:

  • Endpoint security. Enterprise endpoint protection for Windows environments covering management, policy enforcement, secure access, management, and analytics.
  • Private and public cloud security. Security for Microsoft private (HyperV) and public cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure Infrastructure (IaaS and PaaS), as well as Microsoft Office365 SaaS offerings.
  • BYOL and on-demand cloud services. FortiGate, FortiWeb, FortiManager, FortiMail, and FortiAnalyzer are available for Microsoft Azure for Bring-Your-Own-License and on-demand cloud services.
  • Subscription services. FortiCASB (Cloud Access Security Broker) delivers actionable visibility for Microsoft Office365 subscription services.

Fortinet will be participating in the Summit’s technical presentation program and presenting on the topic of “Fortinet Security Solutions for Microsoft Azure: Use Cases.” This session will touch on Fortinet’s solutions for Microsoft Azure and the most common use cases.
