How CMMC Measures Up to Other Compliance Frameworks

Key Differences Between CMMC and Other Frameworks
The CMMC framework draws on maturity processes and cybersecurity best practices from multiple previous standards, encompassing some or all of their requirements as part of its own. The biggest difference between CMMC and other compliance frameworks is that CMMC establishes five tiered, stacking certification levels that identify the maturity and reliability of a company’s cybersecurity infrastructure.
