Gartner just released its 2020 Magic Quadrant for Cloud Access Security Brokers, wherein Bitglass was recognized as a Magic Quadrant Leader for the third year in a row. Time and again, we feel Bitglass has demonstrated its ability to drive innovation in the CASB space and develop advanced technologies that protect data against evolving threats and vulnerabilities. We credit our success to all of our amazing customers and our dedicated employees around the globe.
In its Magic Quadrant, we believe that Gartner gathers first-hand customer insights about the ins and outs of various CASB solutions. With two axes for “Completeness of Vision” and “Ability to Execute,” the four resulting quadrants are allocated to Leaders, Visionaries, Niche Players, and Challengers–allowing for vendors’ CASBs to be compared to one another more easily. All in all, the Magic Quadrant provides a helpful visual evaluation of competing solutions as well lengthy written details about each product. Proudly, we can say Bitglass has been included, yet again, in the Leader quadrant.
Bitglass’ multi-mode CASB has API integrations, forward proxy, and agentless reverse proxy for securing data at rest, managed devices, and any device (including personal endpoints), respectively. The Bitglass CASB offers robust identity management, granular data protection, zero-day threat protection, and comprehensive visibility wherever data goes. The solution requires no agents or hardware appliances, and is fully deployed in the public cloud on a Polyscale Architecture that automatically scales with load to customers’ exact needs.
At Bitglass, our CASB is one piece of our Total Cloud Security Platform. We integrate our multi-mode CASB with the world’s only on-device secure web gateway and zero trust network access in order to secure any interaction between any device, app, web destination, on-premises resource, or infrastructure.
With our continued recognition as a Leader in the Magic Quadrant, we look forward to another year of driving innovation in the CASB space and delivering comprehensive protections for customers to secure the cloud, BYOD, remote work, and more.
