Imperva Boosts Capacity to Meet Demand in Malaysia

Imperva is enhancing support for its customers in Asia by increasing capacity at its PoP in Kuala Lumpur (KL), Malaysia. Home to hundreds of multinational companies, KL’s thriving high-tech economy and strong financial center positions it well as a global hot-spot for business. Imperva is boosting its services at its KL PoP by increasing capacity to handle the growing volumes of traffic and business activity being generated by the region’s growing digital economy.

The move comes at a time when the city is being earmarked to become a leading player in the gaming industry, following recent, rapid growth in artificial intelligence and virtual reality technologies. As many of these organizations migrate to cloud computing, their threat surface is expanding for bad actors, increasing the risk of an attack. Imperva protects the mission-critical applications and data businesses rely on – whether they are on-premises, in the cloud, or across multiple environments.

“We are very happy to announce our recent investment in our PoP in Malaysia,” said Tomer Shani, Director of Edge Services at Imperva. “KL is emerging as a leading business hub in the region. Our newly increased capacity and improved capabilities equip us to offer customers the best protection for their business as they transition to cloud computing.”
