WhiteHat Security Names Chris Leffel Vice President of Product Management

SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 18, 2020 – WhiteHat Security, an independent subsidiary of NTT Ltd. and a leading application security provider, today announced the appointment of Chris Leffel as the new vice president of Product Management. In his role, Leffel will lead the product management team in driving an extensive product strategy and new innovation to WhiteHat’s product portfolio, to provide a best-in-application security experience for current and future WhiteHat Security customers. 

Leffel has been in the enterprise security management industry for more than 15 years. Most recently, he served as the vice president of Product Management at Digital Guardian, where he led the product integration process during the company’s acquisition of Code Green Networks and was in charge of building and improving its data loss prevention (DLP) product.

Prior to Digital Guardian, Leffel held executive product management positions at Tripwire, Code Green Networks and Symantec. Highlights from Leffel’s career include successfully bringing the Code Green Networks product to profitability, eventually leading to its acquisition by Digital Guardian, and launching a brand-new product at Tripwire. He began his career as a software engineer at Keane, Inc. (acquired by NTT), followed by Icon Infosystems, before transitioning to product management at iAnywhere.
