Describe about how customers benefit from Delphix and Presidio working together.

The Delphix masking solution is a perfect complement to our Adaptive Security consulting services. We see the data virtualization and self-service playing strategically into our digital transformation story. We are working on creating a reference architecture to help highlight the joint value prop to our customers.

Could you give us an example of customer success story and how our joint solution increased value for a customer’s business?

We work with a leading provider of employer-sponsored child care, back-up care, early education, and work/life solutions. The company operates hundreds of child care and early education centers across the U.S. Presidio leveraged Delphix’s masking assisted this customer in several areas.

Because they work with both employees and children, they faced challenges in protecting the sensitive consumer data contained in their application databases. They are also burdened with adhering to legal mandates regarding various compliance rules– PII, HIPAA, and GDPR to name a few. And finally, the customer also has to adhere to archival mandates – some that require long term archiving, such as a 28-year statute-of-limitation rules of child abuse cases. Because of all the regulations they must adhere to in their IT practices, they faced 350 data audits last year alone.

We were able to implement Delphix masking in their production environment, providing increased security to ensure against regulatory penalties and fines. At the same time, we leveraged Delphix’s virtualization to accelerate data refreshes. Previously each data refresh would take 4-6 hours, which resulted in costly customer chargebacks for the hours their systems weren’t accessible. Delphix is able to do these same refreshes in minutes!
