Data Export: Access and Export Customer Data with LoginRadius

by Alice Liang on May 10, 2019

With the LoginRadius Identity Platform, you can store, organize, and integrate your customer data to seamlessly feed into other systems you may be using. While LoginRadius helps you store and manage your customer data, your company maintains complete ownership of what you do with that data and how you use it.

We also offer the ability to download a file of your customer data without any engineering help. This data export saves your organization time, money, and resources that it would normally take to complete these simple tasks.

From the LoginRadius Admin Console, you can easily request a one-time export or schedule recurring exports.

Why Export Your Customer Data?

Here are a number of use cases where LoginRadius data exports can be beneficial:

  • Analyze customer data from all your websites and applications connected to LoginRadius for business intelligence.
  • Add customer profile information to a marketing mail service for newsletters, such as Mailchimp.
  • Update CRM systems, such as Salesforce.
  • Run customer analytics to measure your website’s effectiveness and marketing success.

Using the LoginRadius data export feature, you can freely access all of your customer data and retrieve it at any moment. You can choose to download a full data set or pull certain fields.

How Data Export Works in LoginRadius

LoginRadius offers both one-time data export or scheduled recurring exports.

The On-Demand Export page lets you customize and export customer profile reports. Once you request a report, LoginRadius sends you (and any additional recipients) an email with a secure link to download the data extract in the requested format (CSV or JSON). Depending on the request pipeline, it may take up to an hour to receive the report.

This method is helpful in you need to pull a one-time report, for example, if you are updating customer profile information in Salesforce. You can choose the format you need and which data to include. The report will immediately be emailed to you.

The Scheduled Export page lets you set a schedule for customized customer profile reports. Reports can be scheduled on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Each time the report is generated, LoginRadius sends you (and any additional recipients) an email with a secure link to download the data extract in requested format (CSV or JSON).

This method is helpful if you need to pull the same report frequently. For example, say you need to pull a monthly report of your customer activity to determine your website’s effectiveness. You can use scheduled export to email yourself the same report every month, on the date and in the format of your choosing.
