Keeping up in today’s threat landscape requires anticipation, autonomous action, and high identity confidence. Modern threat actors have pushed their efforts to edge devices, and defenders must follow.
As we lean into the new year, two cybersecurity truths are apparent:
- Threats are occurring at machine-speed
- Defenses must react autonomously, with high-confidence, to interject the kill-chain
A key take-away: high confidence, local intelligence is needed in order to enable actions that can disrupt an active kill-chain. To achieve this vision, certain tightly held industry-wide assumptions must be critiqued and adjusted accordingly.
