Infosec Europe 2018 is being held June 5-7, 2018 at the Olympia exhibition hall in London, where Fortinet is proud to once again be exhibiting.
In 2016, we unveiled our technology vision of the Fortinet Security Fabric, which marked the start of the third and latest generation of network security. This year at Accelerate 18, our global partner and customer event, we announced more than 200 new features in FortiOS 6.0, along with services designed to automate security operations and protect the digital attack surface.
This year at Infosecurity Europe, we will demonstrate how the Fortinet Security Fabric and the ecosystem of Fortinet partner solutions enable digital business and provide mid-and-large enterprise organisations with broad, integrated, and automated protection across their evolving and distributed networks, from the Internet of Things (IoT) to multi-cloud and virtualized environments.
Fortinet experts will be providing live demonstrations in Booth #E110 over the two days of the event. Demo topics include:
The Fortinet Security Fabric
The Fortinet Security Fabric is a cyber security architecture that unifies different security technologies deployed across a network into a single collaborative security infrastructure. It supports and unifies all key security elements, including core network, multi-cloud, web application, email, unified network access, endpoint protection, advanced threat protection (ATP), and management & analytics—all supported by a single source of threat intelligence provided by FortiGuard Labs. At Infosec, Fortinet will demonstrate the capabilities of the Fortinet Security Fabric with a focus on Secure SD-WAN and ATP.
SD-WAN: Following on the trend of distributing security across today’s extended networks, Fortinet is able to leverage its FortiGate installed base as a cost saving CPE solution through its integrated Secure SD-WAN functionality. Fortigate’s Secure SD-WAN solution combines world class NGFW security with a wide range of SD-WAN features such as application awareness and traffic-optimised networking.
ATP: An ATP capability is essential for enabling any network to protect itself, especially in the post-GDPR era with its substantial penalties for data breaches. In short, ATP provides the ability to block known threats while simultaneously detecting previously unknown threats through the collaboration between the different technologies that make up the Fortinet Security Fabric. ATP provides far more than solutions for targeted attacks or “zero day” malware. ATP should be the foundation of every organization’s cyber security strategy.
OT and ICS Cyber Protection
In 1969, Michael Caine and others gave us one of the most memorable cult movies of all time – The Italian Job. In it, a cast of rogues set out to cause mayhem in Turin by hacking into the city’s Traffic Light Control system, as cover for an audacious robbery. Far-fetched? Not as much as you might think. Traffic Light Control systems, like the vast majority of industrial control systems (ICS), were never manufactured with any security in mind. And that makes them a great target for the Hacker looking for an easy avenue for causing chaos—or to use as a stepping stone for gaining access to their true target.
At InfoSec, we will demonstrate how vulnerable these OT/ICS systems can be, and how the Fortinet Security Fabric—including our suite of ruggedised devices developed specifically for challenging OT/ICS environments—helps organisations guard against and gain visibility into such attacks. Fortinet’s solutions can help to ensure the safety and reliability of OT, ICS and SCADA systems.
Date and Time: Demonstrations are ongoing during show hours.
Location: Booth #E110

Are you really ready for Digital Transformation? While the business benefits are clear, technology adoption, the escalating threat landscape and compliance to any number of standards and legal requirements are all challenges to any DX efforts. If your organisation is moving into the digital future, you need to make sure that your security infrastructure isn’t stuck in the past.
This session will provide the insight towards a comprehensive and adaptive security architecture that can support your organisation’s changing objectives and more importantly, evolve as the cyber threat challenge evolves as well.
