Dutch organizations set to benefit from enhanced file auditing to protect against data breaches.
Global cybersecurity vendor IS Decisions today announces an exclusive distribution agreement with NVB ICT DIENSTEN, an ICT specialist, to deliver its security solution FileAudit across the Netherlands.
FileAudit is a comprehensive file monitoring tool that enables organizations to proactively track, audit and react to the improper access — or access attempt — of sensitive information.
The agreement is IS Decisions’s first direct distribution agreement in Europe and forms part of the company’s strategy to focus on supporting its partner ecosystem.
Founder and CEO of IS Decisions François Amigorena explained the rationale behind the partnership: “We have partnered with NVB because of its expertise in Microsoft technology and solution-oriented experience.”
“Our tool FileAudit is an extremely valuable asset to businesses given its power to combat data theft and meet compliance requirements. Therefore, we’re expecting ambitious growth this year, and I believe that the best way to sustain this level of growth is by working closer with regional industry experts. Access security is no longer a concern in just a few regulated industries. We’re seeing demand from SMBs to large enterprise across all sectors. With NVB we can now serve our Dutch customers with a single point of contact in their own language. Both end-users and resellers will benefit from a local partner.”
With the European Union touting the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as the most important change in data privacy regulation in 20 years, FileAudit helps prove to regulators that an organization is protecting personal data effectively. By comprehensively monitoring all access activity to data found on files, folders and file shares, organizations can give precise answers to questions about improper access, alteration or the destruction of personal data.
CEO of NVB ICT DIENSTEN Nissan Van Blankenstein said: “FileAudit is a software platform that greatly simplifies file and folder access auditing on Windows servers. The granular level of file access management helps organizations exceed regulatory requirements and avoid penalties.”
This new partnership follows IS Decisions’s recent renewal of its Microsoft’s Gold Partner certification. This is Microsoft’s highest level of accreditation for excellence in Application Development and the provision of the highest levels of customer service. IS Decisions will continue to provide direct technical support to its Netherlands customers.
